TAKE ON THE WORLD’S WILDEST CHALLENGE!

Every year in June, people from all over the world flock to Lewa to take part in one of the world’s most popular adventure sports events, the Lewa Safari Marathon.

The race, which began in the year 2000 has since grown from 180 entries at its debut to just over 1,200 participants yearly.

On 24th June 2023, this unique experience will once again bring runners from all over the world together to run through Lewa Wildlife Conservancy, a UNESCO World Heritage Site in northern Kenya, among some of Africa’s most magnificent wildlife. Participants will have the opportunity to take part in three events: the full marathon (42 km), half marathon (21km), the Executive Race (10km) and the Junior Fun Run (5km).
