The Lewa Conservation Education department recently published a journal dubbed “Integrating Conservation Education Content Into The National School Curriculum Through Educational Technology To Promote Environmental Action” with the International Zoo Educators Association.
The publication seeks to share lessons learnt from integrating conservation education with interactive digital aids to foster better learning for primary school students. It goes on to give examples where merging the two resulted in practical environmental outcomes that showcased better comprehension and uptake from the students as far as learning is concerned.
The publication also outlines how success this success can be shared and up scaled into the Kenyan National School Curriculum.
