Training to Empower Women

For the past two weeks, Lewa’s Community Development Team has facilitated the training of women from the Conservancy’s neighbouring areas in governance, enterprise development, innovation and potential utilisation.
The training is still ongoing and aims at reaching 2,000 women by the end of this month. This kind of exposure has proven extremely helpful in the past; it provides the women with crucial knowledge previously inaccessible due to a lack of funding or opportunity.
It is hoped that the training will not only improve their business skills and financial management but also contribute to their personal development.
