September 22 is World Rhino Day!

Over the years, rhino numbers have increased in our landscape due to successful conservation efforts. However, Lewa’s flagship species, the Black rhino remains Critically Endangered while the southern white rhino is Near Threatened. Please consider lending your support this World Rhino Day to ensure the conservation of rhinos for future generations.
Interested in naming or adopting a rhino to support Lewa’s conservation efforts?
Naming: You will be able to pick a name for a rhino that goes into the official database of the Kenya Wildlife Service. You will also receive a certificate, photos, updates and invitations to exclusive opportunities.
Adoption: You can symbolically “adopt” a rhino for the year and receive a certificate, photos and updates during that time.
